Today was a winning day in my family. Literally.

I won 2 box seats to see the Bruins play the Carolina Hurricanes!  Chef won $1K on a scratch ticket AND a coworker of his gave him a phat mountain bike - for nothing!  Now he can invite friends to ride with him who don't have a bike of their own (like my brother and Chef's grill cook).  He shared his winnings with me and I'm taking him to the game.  There were 7 sets of tickets and I know 5 of the 7 winners so we're going to have some fun! 

That was a nice balance to my fight in establishing travel plans.  Apparently Geneva is hosting another big "do" and all the hotels are booked for the week my boss and I need to be there.  I finally went online to hotels.com and booked something from there but we know NOTHING about this hotel so it could end up being a horror show.  Well, at least we'll be together.  Then we split up and she'll go to Germany while I go to France and we'll meet up again in Zurich for the journey home.  Doesn't it sound like an amazing jet-set existence?  It's really not that glamorous.  Trust me. 

We have a new writer who started yesterday.  He seems like a good man.  Someone who will pitch in and do whatever it takes to get the job done.  We haven't had someone like that join us in quite a while.
